Kurdistan TV is a Kurdish satellite television station based in Erbil, Kurdistan Region. In 1999, it started broadcasting programs in Kurdish via WS International satellite. The channel is affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party and was one of the first private stations to broadcast in Iraqi Kurdistan.
